Bengaluru cluster
KIMS Bengaluru, Rajarajeswari Medical College, BGS Global, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Medical College, East Point, Akash, MVJ and Sapthagiri are the main options in and around the city, all attached to large multi-specialty teaching hospitals.
Coastal Karnataka
Mangaluru is a powerhouse of medical education — Father Muller, Yenepoya, AJ Institute, Kanachur and Srinivas offer excellent clinical exposure with strong hostel ecosystems.
Other regions
JSS Mysuru, SDM Dharwad, Sri Siddhartha Tumakuru, Subbaiah Shivamogga, Navodaya Raichur and KBN Kalaburagi round out the state's strongest options outside the metros.
How to shortlist
Compare four things: NMC approval and affiliation, hospital bed strength and patient inflow, total course fee against your budget, and hostel and city fit. Rankings alone are a poor filter.
