A modest NEET score is not the end of a medical career. What matters is whether you qualified — after that, the question is which route fits your budget and goals.
Option 1 — MBBS management quota
Private colleges in Karnataka still consider NEET-qualified candidates for management seats. Budget is the main constraint, not rank.
Option 2 — BDS
Dentistry gives you a clinical degree, independent practice and MDS specialisation at a fraction of MBBS fees.
Option 3 — AYUSH degrees
BAMS, BHMS and BUMS are full medical degrees under NCISM and NCH with growing demand and very affordable fee structures.
Option 4 — Allied health sciences
Physiotherapy, nursing, radiology and lab technology are strong career paths if you prefer to enter the workforce sooner.
Decide fast
Seats close in sequence. Waiting for a better round often means losing options you already had. Speak to a counselor early in the cycle.
